Turkİsh presİdentİal advİsor: Armenİan armed forces must leave Azerbaİjanİ lands

APA. Armenian armed forces must unconditionally withdraw from the occupied Azerbaijani lands, the Turkish online newspaper Gazete Vatan quoted Turkish presidential advisor Yalcin Topcu, as saying.

The presidential advisor made this statement during a meeting held at Azerbaijan’s embassy in Ankara on Apr. 21.

The whole world needs to know that Turkey and Azerbaijan are like two twin brothers, who stand shoulder to shoulder, Topcu noted. “The best example of this [fraternity] is the last visit of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev to Turkey. Both presidents’ hugging each other warmly was an important message to friends and enemies.”

He emphasized that the unity of the Turkic world in words and in deeds will bring security, freedom and prosperity to both Turkic and the Islamic world.

In turn, Azerbaijani ambassador to Turkey Faig Baghirov expressed his satisfaction with the meeting, noting that recent events have shown once again the exemplary brotherhood between Turkey and Azerbaijan.

The ambassador reiterated Turkish national leader Ataturk’s “Azerbaijan's joy is ours, Azerbaijan's grief is ours to” and Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev’s “One nation, two states” sayings, expressing gratitude to Turkey’s president for the support to the just struggle of Azerbaijan.
