Armenİa’s polİcy aİmed at İmpedİng any progress İn Karabakh conflİct resolutİon, says Azerbaİjan
APA. Armenia’s policy is aimed at impeding any progress in the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakhconflict, said Hikmat Hajiyev, the spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry.
He made the remarks at the panel discussion as part of the event held on the National Diplomacy Day in Baku July 12.
“Taking into account the policy and tactics implemented by Armenia over the last two years, we can see that this country, over the past period, has resorted to political provocations, preventing any progress in the conflict resolution.” said Hajiyev. “For instance, Armenia has repeatedly held military exercises in the occupied Azerbaijani territories over the last two years.”
The implementation of the TAP and TANAP projects are among priorities in Azerbaijan’s foreign policy, according to the spokesman.
“There are certain circles that wish the projects not to be implemented. However, the Western countries are interested in the realization of these projects,” Hajiyev added.
